Marketing director & creative lead.

Based in Austin, I plan campaigns, lead creative teams, pitch the work, watch the budget, and occasionally pick up the camera.

My process is
pretty simple.

Before we make anything, I want to know who it's for, what's getting in the way, and what would make someone pay attention.

Do the homework

Audience, market, and competitor research; performance data; and the client conversations that usually reveal the real problem.

Make a useful plan

Positioning, messaging, campaign strategy, channel choices, budgets, and a clear brief the team can actually work from.

Stay close to the work

Creative direction, production, vendors, schedules, reviews, and delivery. I like leading the team without disappearing from the making.

The filmmaker with an accounting degree.

It sounds like an odd combination. It's also why I'm comfortable moving between the story, the budget, the client, and the work itself.

At Key Ideas, I lead brand, marketing, and content strategy across nonprofit and commercial work. Projects span video, web, SEO, social, paid media, print, and photography.

Before and alongside that role, I directed and produced more than 100 commercial, documentary, nonprofit, and branded projects. English and Portuguese are fluent; Spanish is conversational.

Let's talk.
